An Episcopal Church In Lake Norman NC Strictly Follows The Bible

By Stephanie West

There are three major monotheistic religions on planet earth. They are Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Christianity has billions of followers, all over the world. There are two major Christian denominations. They are Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. The Roman Catholic Church has its headquarters in Rome, Italy. Protestantism was formed because of the Great Reformation. The Episcopal Church is a Protestant faith. The others include Baptist, Anglican, Lutheran and Presbyterian churches among others. Some Christian believers in America follow Episcopal Church in Lake Norman NC. This is a Bible believing church. A true Christian believes fully in the Bible.

There is no single time in history that the Holy Bible has ever been wrong. It has been proven true and holy during the course of humanity. Some people have always tried to disapprove it but they have ended up disappointed at the end of the day because the Bible has always stood the test of time. It has managed to withstand brutal regimes and dictatorships.

The Holy Bible is superior. It is inspired and divine. There is no other book that has been written by human hands that can be compared to it. As a matter of fact, it is the most translated book on earth. This holy book has two broad sections. The Old Testament has a number of books. There is also New Testament.

The Old Testament was written over a period of around four thousand years. It begins with the creation of planet earth in the book of Genesis. After Genesis, one will find books that explain the movement of the Children of Israel from Egypt to the Promised Land. The Old Testament ends with the book of Malachi. New Testament has the gospels.

There are many biblical tenets. Of course, there is the tenet of baptism. This is an important Christian tradition. As a matter of fact, Christians will not stop baptizing any time soon. People will continue being baptized until the end of time. Baptism should actually mark the end of a life of sin and the start of a righteous life.

After baptism, one is required to live a holy life. That will involve totally shunning sin. It is only by avoiding sin that a believer will be able to qualify for eternal life in heaven. There is a beautiful place that awaits those who live a righteous life. Such a place is paradise and it has golden streets.

Of course, there will be times that an individual will stumble. Human is to error. Thus, stumbling is part of human nature. However, an individual should quickly pick himself up and continue with the journey of righteousness. To be strong in the faith, one will need to regularly congregate with other believers. It will be good to always attend mass.

The physical is just but one side of the equation. The other side is the spiritual realm. This is the most important aspect in a human being. After death, the body will die and rot away. However, the spirit will remain. The spirit will last for eternity. It will either go to a happy and good place or go to hell, which is a place of suffering.
